B.-Questions and Answers

QUESTION 1: Can you tell me why Paco de Lucia mainly played on stage for more than 30 years with that Conde Hermanos 1975 negra guitar? CLICK HERE

Please take a look at the following interview:

El Pais (newspaper) & Paco de Lucia

QUESTION: Which is your main guitar?

ANSWER PACO DE LUCIA: I have many different guitars and very good ones actually, but I always have one with me, It's like a woman you live with but who you don't really like much, because I really do not like this guitar too much(Paco's Conde 1975), but on the other hand I know how this particular guitar will respond to me on stage. The saying `best known evil than an unknown good` applies here. In fact at home my guitar is a rough and hard to play, when I'm relaxed at my place I can't play this guitar at all, but when adrenaline is there (on the stage) I need a certain comfortable pulsacion of which I get used to, and that's why I use it for playing on stage.
